The cars landed on my doorstep in Texas this afternoon. Will get them unpacked and ready to race this weekend. I have to get the club members' schedules worked out tomorrow and then I'll report back on the Qualifying and Race dates.

Welcome to another week in the SCITCC. This past week I had the pleasure of watching the event live from Texas. A big Texas-sized hats off to Belator, Autorama and all the other helpers that made the event a success.

Well, for some of us. My car once again showed it's prowess on the drag strip while simultaneously failing as a track car. Fast in a straight line, treacherous in the corners. No ones fault but my own...

So that brings us to the next race and a small explanation.

We have lost one of our tracks since Super2nr is in the process of moving. No blame, just the way things go. So for starters the cars are heading off to BigJack once we get an address.

And that leaves us with but two remaining races on the schedule and a decision to be made.

We promised 14. We have 13. I can add one more event as we have a new track locally we could certainly use. But let's not make this my call, it's yours. I'm going to start a new thread and you can make your decision.

As the season continues to wind down, the best of luck to all. Ok, some.

Monte IMO just end the series, without looking for another venue,return the cars and get on with planning next years event.
IMO it is important to keep the momentum up with any proxy to maintain interest. This is very hard with any event and only seem to get harder with longer events. More rounds seems more delays. Just my 2 cents worth!

We have rendered a decision. Thirteen events and we will conclude the season.

That leaves the events of BigJack and pukplyr remaining after which cars will return to Oregon where we will resolve all ties and then send them home to be reunited with their loved ones.

Or in my cars case, disassembled and casually tossed into various parts bins only to resurface later as some other creature destined to wreck havoc on another unsuspecting proxy driver. Bless their hearts...

No worries. 13 is a fine prime number, and coincidentally, the number of full moons this year. (That won't happen again until 2015)

Sucks if you happen to suffer from Triskaidekaphobia though...
