Hello new to the site and new to all the digital slotcar action. My gosh just looking at some of this it is very expensive very fun and a lot of everything else. I am however looking to get back into this as I did when I was a kid. My brother has an AFX set but looking to sell it. I can see why. Cars are bigger and the options are many. Any help would be appreciated and forgive me if I ask a question that has already been answered.
Is there places to race these cars at? I am in Michigan (Flint area) so watching or digging deeper before my purchase would be helpful. Carrera and SCX both digital seems to be the way to go. I do want to go digital though. Hello all!!

Thanks for the welcome. If I am not tied up I may try to get there Saturday just to get a peek at what it's all about. It sounds like fun for all though. You have directions or is this right off of US 23? Fenton is very close to me and I live off of Fenton RD at the present time.

If you want to try digital firsthand,I have a large Carrera digital track with D/124 and D/132 cars.I would be more than happy to have you come out,run some laps,and check it out

Whigs, Randys track is awsome, plus he has the advantage of running 1/24. You are more than welcome to visit mine as well. (Bridgeport) It's quite a bit smaller but drives well. Between the two of us you should get a good idea of home track layouts. Wohoo, I just might get a few digital guys together in Mid MI after all.
