I will be done with the Cobra this weekend and after that one I don't know which one to do of the Vettes?
This one or this one? Blue or Gold one!
Well both will get little brass chassis under the body. I let you guys pick which one should be done first.
I will post pics on the Ac Cobra when its done.
What a sweet looking 55 Chevy! I had a real one as my first car, gave $50 for it. It was a 2 door post Bel Air, 6 cylinder, powerglide auto trans. I loved that car. Wish I had it back. Yours brings back a lot of memories. Thanks for posting it.

This is where I'm at this point, waiting for the glue to get hard!
I needed to set up the car with the height that I wanted and I had to use tooth pics and tape?
Toothpicks and tape, huh? That sounds familiar, along with miscellaneous pieces of plastic strip and lexan, maybe the odd stir stick from Starbucks ... .
Try moving the wheels out a few mm on each side so they are sticking outside the fenders and let the body rest on the tires. That is what works for me when I'm gluing Slot.it cups. Five minute epoxy is a great adhesive for this.
Another alternative, to the tape & toothpicks, that might work is to stick small squares of corrugated cardboard to the tops of the tires with double-sided Scotch tape. Then put your body on the chassis with it resting on the cardboard squares for tire clearance. You may have to use more than one layer of cardboard to provide the proper tire clearance. When everything is dry, remove the cardboard squares.
