Default 4 lane track on a 6x3 board

Hi all have been looking at making a 4 lane track for me and the boys at work as lunchtimes are boring at the best now the sunny weather has gone no more Rc buggies I have had scaley track in various layouts from stock car ovals to scale tracks duly landscaped at home but we can only fit a 6x3 board in at work I have all classic track no digital or sport but quite a lot of it just wondered if anyone has built any 4 lane tracks on something this small
Any ideas would be great

About the only thing you could build would be an oval with three straight sections on either side and use R1 and R2 curves. If you are using scaley power bases one section of track would be replaced by the power base and a half straight. I would put one power base on each straight so there would be two drivers per side. Your own mini Bristol.

With a 6'-6" long table you could make it a figure 8 if you can get clearance for the cars going under the bridge.

4 lane figure 8 is possible in roughly 6x3 using R1/R2/R3 curves.

is the space maximum 6x3' or is there a few extra inches available? and do you need space for shoulders (no-mag racing)?

First attempt

6' 2" x 2' 9" (187cm x 83cm) with equal lap length in each lane:

9 x R1
12 x R2
6 X R3
4 X full straights
10 x half straights
2 x short straights (may not be needed)

Yeah I was allowing for a bit of extra table with my 6'-6" dimension but that doesn't allow for borders either and I'm still not sure about the amount of elevation change and grade breaks that might hang a car up. I don't see how a double decker could work How about a ping pong table that folds up. But you would have to assemble the track each time.

Tell the boys and start trying to find r1 and r3 curves
I know I have some r1 somewhere but know where near enough same with r3
eBay it is I plan to maybe run scaley barriers on the outside as have millions of them probably
A mix of mag non mag cars to run a few different classes

Can I jump in here, can you maybe show me something in a 4-lane that would fit on a 4x14 table.
Thanks, Bill

Almost

This is 13' 11" x 4' 6" (425 cm x 137 cm) with equal lap lengths (47 feet).

Just a quick sketch, but it might give you an idea..

BTW: It's based on Scalextric Sport, Classic or SCX track.
