For any that notice discrepancies for me on the specs page of the spreadsheet, my shakedowns and tuning changed my plans, and I sent different cars than originally intended. I then got my specs in to DrDiff late.
Must be doing better only 10 points down in GT1. Last year was 15 points after the first race. However I'm 29 down in LMP, where I was just 10 down last yr. Stupid penalty for not gluing the tires on before the car left here. Hopefully it will race its way up the steep hill.
You're doing a great job in keeping that spreadsheet up to date
Shame there's a few holes in the Tech Specs - if entrants could review their details and update, that would make the whole exercise so much the better....
Dean, in your results page of the spreadsheet, my GT1 Toyota Supra has morphed into a Mercedes.. (oh what a feeling...)

Thanks for keeping this updated Diff... question though... why does the points formula use the overall winner's laps instead of the class winner's laps?

The RAAce is a long multi stage Enduro, with Overall winners, and also Stage/Class winners.
Highest accumulated points (best car in RAAce) Wins.

Reason: ...There can be only one....
The RAA is patterned off of the 24 hours of Le Mans. That race has many classes but the overall victor is the car that covers the most laps/distance in 24 hours. There are class victories but only one overall winner.
The RAA has 3 classes that run for the same length of time on each track in the series. The one car that covers the longest distance/ laps is the winner and gets 100 points. All other cars are assigned points scored based upon the percentage of laps they complete in comparison to the race winner's laps. This is then multiplied by 100 to give a number rather than percentage. the formula is as follows: your score =(Your # of laps/winners # of laps) x 100. As each round is competed, scores are calculated and the results of each round combined to give overall result. Basically each round has only one winner. And series winner is based on adding up the points from each round.
Unfortunately. Prizes are not given out by over all points but, rather Cass order. Eg... the winner of LMP picks first, then the Winner of GT1, and finally the winner of GT2. Next 2nd in LMP, 2nd in GT1, and 2nd in GT2...
These are the rules set fourth by redlynr and the RAA brain trust. I only keep the score based upon the results that the round hosts report. Penalties and prizes are given by the RAA brain trust. I serve them and RAA participants.
