Default Need HELP

Ok, The track has been sitting for about 4 months not being used, I went to run some laps and the cars stop running they dont make it around the track. Do I need to clean the copper tape? All three lanes do the same thing some parts of the track work fine.

That'll teach you to leave it sit for four months
Do the cars stop in the same places....chk the power taps
Random? you might try wiping down the tape a little and try a little clean on the braids.
Ours has always come back pretty quickly.

Get some Inox--it's a great oil that will help polish your tape and keep it from tarnishing!! Great product.

check the car's braids for dust as well. whenever i run on a track that has been sitting, even for a few days, dust can build up on the braids causing power issues.

inox works great, but for stubborn spots i have found that a quick scrub with some really fine sandpaper (like 800 grit) can help as well.

If its' Clean and still doing the same thing . Check the copper tape for hair line cracks or the solder joints .... Or maybe your braids are to high pull them down a little ..
Good luck !!!

It is dirty braids on the car. I have the same problem sometimes even if track maybe only have been ignored for a day or two. Even though the braids look OK give them a cleaning with fingernail to scrape the miniscule crap off. Follow with a wipe of alcohol to clean them.

Then use your Tyre Buddy to clean the tires every couple of laps til traction is back.
