Save your money. There is nothing he does that can't be done with a little advice from the guys here. One of our guys used to do some painting for him.
But I'm not a first-hand purveyor of this information, so if somebody has actually bought any of his cars, let's hear from you.
Have to agree with Kurt, don't see anything in his cars that warrant the extravagant prices.BTW do an advanced search showing completed listings, he sells very few items it looks like.
he brags endlessly about his tuning skills, but I've seen him use parts that shouldn't be used together & he's tuning for mag racing. The cars he doesn't tune are about 30% over ebay listed market values & he hardly ever sells them. I did luck out on something(untuned) from him a couple months ago @ a good price, but i've seen his listings ever since he's started & there's really no reason to give him any money.
btw, i check "newly listed" under 1/32 slot cars 2-3 times/day for the last 10 years, i kinda have a feeling for what's out there.
I had a few e-mail conversations with him years ago. He prays on new guys that don't know any better.
Everything....that he is doing...you can do.
He doesn't have any magic parts. He does have a good knowledge of parts that are on the market and must have a friend with a shop that will order him parts...but it IS all over the counter parts he is using.
Just do some reading here, you'll find most everything you need to know about going fast (wood or plastic).
He Likes to use BIG TEXT for his auctions, seems this is the magic that let's his cars win.
Seriously, he has been on ebay for a long time, he runs many auctions, all vastly over-priced, yet the man does have the right to fool fish. Kurt had it right, you buy wisdom for the price, not of us are fooled, we paid in some form long ago
A few months ago, I noticed that on an original Jagermeister 956KH he had cut out the rear wheel arches to accommodate larger tires and it was still listed as "New/Undamaged"...
