Default Curious about the origins of the 962C bodies.

Was the mold for the 962C bodies taken from the Hasegawa model kit?Reason I ask-I noticed in the photos of the Advan livery slot car that the wing side plates have a raised edge all around the side plate. The side plates on the real car are flat except for a vertical wicker bill at the back edge of the plate rather than having that raised edge all the way around the side plate like the kit and slot car have.A minor thing, yes, but it sparked my curiosity.

Default BRM created their own tooling for the Porsche 962.

It was not cloned from another brand they build this car from scratch. I can't wait to show the next car they are releasing, more News soon

Alan,

What is your take on adding lights to a 962 ? Suggestions on the hardware to use ? and Tell Us already about the "next car" !!!

I'm hoping BRM took up the suggestion in this Forum, and does the Silk Cut Jag XJR9

Or the Sauber Mercedes C9 ...

BTW ... Do you guys have an Official Day of Mourning on this July 4 ???

Default Next Group C will probably be the Mazda.

I do not expect the Jag or Mercedes yet.

Regarding lights we use the DS system with batteries DS-0125.

Regarding the 4th of July in England it is a celebration too. We call it ( getting rid of the ) Pilgrims Day

Seriously Happy 4th of July America
