Very nice looking job. the DPs enjoy the benefit of basically having a slot.It chassis with some very well done coach work. I just hope they reconsider their decision to not continue the line. Especially since this year's crop of DP cars got facelifts that improved their looks by 100%.

Doubt you'll see any new versions of DP's, they just didn't sell that well, too bad I really like mine.

I agree. It seems that when you have a hobby that is Eurocentric, US racing subjects generally do not do all that well in the marketplace.

As much as I'd like to see Sideways continue with the DP line, maybe one of the two companies who cater more towards the US market could make them. I am thinking either Monogram or Carrera.
I'd love to see Monogram take a stab at them provided they make them inline chassis with a nice normal 9:27 48p gearing with a reasonable 18k motor. None of their weird sidewinder combos with odd sized gears and unusual spacing. Monogram does very well in the scale accuracy and modeling aspects, so we know they would look good at least.
