Come and join us, while a season's worth of hardware is handed out. Officers will be voted on, and new rules proposed...if things get too hot, take a dip in Jerry's pool.
We missed you, Brian ...but totally understand the need to take it EZ!
Saturday was the last race of the racing season, as we handed out the awards for the seasonal honors. It was a very successful season, as we had 50 racers compete in 14 rounds in our 3 classes: T-Jet, Super Stock and Modified. We also put on our first national event, The UFHORA Nats, which we will also hold next year with June 19th-23rd 2013, already being confirmed at the Moose Lodge in Gloucester, Virginia. Jeff Crabtree was our dominant racer this year, winning BeachJet as well as SS/Mod...which results in the overall championship. We did have the recently retired, James Kennedy, give Jeff some competition...as well as occasional good runs from Ronnie Jamerson, Ray Etheridge, Bubba Milholen, Steve Jones, & RC Lincoln.
Enjoy the Summer, there's no Jamerson Cup in August...so next MASCAR race will be in September. I'll be on the road attending the Ohio Cup, on our annual journey to Minnesota. ...TOM

Thanks, Tom and great report! It's been a tough go, but trying to get my eyes back to normal. I had a pretty good day today and have been working on some video. Will have something posted soon. It's not the t-jets yet, but they are coming.
I'll let Tom answer that one, as I "no-speak-O compression mold-O" lingo.
It was fun to drive the new hardbody Storm in the IROC. Too bad we didn't allow some practice, we need to rectify that in the IROC procedures in the future. Yeah I know...the time ticks away
on the day.....
I was actually impressed, as I thought it would be a real clunky feel. A little practice time would have helped, but I think I did OK. Only one guy had problems blowing the body off, just his driving style I guess. We did manage to get at least one out onto the floor for a track call.
They did run fairly cool too, but I'm not sure how aggressive the set ups were as far as ride height....they had made some tweaks to them.
They were breaking in during the race, and could have probably used a tweak here and there, but all in all I was pretty happy with them.
