Ahhhh, still too much at this point. But getting cheaper with Every Lap driven!

Petes progress is a little slow.......he was working on the backyard for the Summer season.

Another 6 laps and cost will come down by half right?

I am taking my toy to do the grocery run this morning. It keeps asking when it can haul the slot cars down 401.

Hi, Tim nice to hear from you. I have been away for some time now in the slotting scene, and will return soon, not to sure when. I will come to the new shop when its up and running, that's for sure. Pick up a new racer or something. Later

Sal

This was before GPS systems, but i didn't notice one installed in your car.

If you don't believe me just ask Serge... remember when he put his car through the wall... he had reverted back to a DRAG RACER!!!!

Every DP at the Six Hours at the Glen (July1) had a map of the track taped to the steering wheel. So much for only "Drag" racers needing such help.
Glad to see ya got your "Big" car out Ronnie

Hi Brian,

Unfortunately No. Given the Space it takes up and the Fact we were only racing on it about once a month, it just is not worth the time and effort.

I think Serge may buy it and set it up in his basement. At least we can all go out and race on it once a month. I mentioned the idea and he was for it.

If Serge dosn't take it I am going to list it on Ebay.

Ron, great to see that you are enjoying your car!

Here are some photos of my last race at the DDT at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park (Mosport).

Remember to invest in some instruction as well as equipment!

I managed a podium (3rd) and was really pleased.

Have fun and be safe.

John

Hi John,

Amazing. Congrats on the Podium!

Eventually I will go to school.

For now I am having too much fun just driving the car around. I am far too old to become a Formula 1 Driver but I will never be too old to feel like one. The car is awesome for that.

I am short shifting, and basically just babying the car around TMP. It is really nice there, very open track and almost nothing to hit if I manage somehow to get it wrong. Still quite technical though. Turn 2 and 3 will take me a while to get right.

I think we are going to go out Friday during the Day. There is a 1-9pm session. I still have yet to turn the GPS on to give me any laptimes. I am going to bring lots of Fuel this time. I ran out on the Main Straight Last Wed night! Managed to turn it off behind the Wall before turn 1. Phew!

Shop wise still not much new Guys. Still Painting it White. Poo Poo Brown is hard to cover.

Hi Guys,

A long overdue update. The Store is coming along nicely. I got the sales area done last week.

I am also Very proud to say that I have the Track design finalized. It is looking REALLY good! 5 Lanes of racing action! I didn't thing I could fit enough track in the 5 Lane format but I DID!!

I am Very excited to race on this one. We will be going with Non-Magnetized Braid for this one as well. Spare no expense, this track will be even better than the last!!! We will need 4 Marshals on this track but we almost always have 9 guys out anyways.

I would post the design here but I want it to be a surprise, trust me, it will be worth the wait. I am starting on the track next week.

Looking forward to the Best Slot Racing Season yet!

Race Haven Hobbies, Home of the ONLY wood slot car race track in the GTA!!!
