Default 213 mph offshore

A little off topic, but they're coming to town soon and are incredible to watch. Most of the pro
boats come to the races with their own helicopters and dive teams. If someone crashes or rolls over in a turn, they are on them in seconds.

213 mph. Turbine powered.....

My dad's 38 foot Cigarette was the pace boat for the races they had in Lake St. Clair. It had twin 770 hp blown big blocks in it. Boy was it fun to drive.....

Hope they've rebuilt her .... this picture is from last week when she caught fire before the July 4th races in Sarasota.

Default Wow...........

OMG........... I had no idea that thing burned and sank.

Do they have a back-up boat ? 'Cause if they don't, I'm gonna go out on a limb here
and say they won't have it running in the near future.

It's only money.

A lot of money.....

Unfortunately GEICO only covers the side of the boat.

Brilliant!

Racing doesn't get much more extreme than that.
