Rooster, looks good for a "bombed" car. Yes, back in the day, a trashed car used pyrotechnics.

007, the parents were not fond of matches & lighter fluid for basement racing.
We built a drag strip outside on driveway or patios. After carving a little of the rear roof,
remove rear window, stuff w/firecrackers, lite same & hit controller. When racing turned to
jet drags, substitute w/rockets, lite & omit controllers. Many a T-Jet met their fate around
Independence Day.

John, not anymore, I treat the track with kid gloves.
Rooster, yes those were the days.
To recall a possible example of bombed/trashed cars--many years ago when I collected T-Jets
I was in a hobby shop & met another collector who was only interested in the GTO. We met at
another time for him to show his 24+ collection. Every GTO was altered/cut/modeled & painted
to become an assortment of Monkeemobiles. Just goes to show, as we enjoy a hobby of little
toy plastic cars; to each his own and beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder.
