Ronan has filled the grid and we've moved on to the waiting list.

Default Question

In the list of approved cars is the Subaru Imprezza WRX STi.

Thus I assume all the below cars are eligible (if de-rallied by removing the navigator etc)

Avant Slot 5dr

Ninco 4dr

Scalextric 4dr

If the model is 4WD does it have to be entered as a 4WD?

Thanks

Yes those cars are legal, they should remain AWD unless someone can convince they ran otherwise.

Okay so, I can't find where Subaru compted in the WTCC at all. Maybe they participated in another "national" touring car series???

The Subaru compete in some events down here as " show room " class and run AWD.

Phoenix Racing ran a 5dr in the 2009 (red #35) SPEED Touring car championship in the US, a black and orange 4dr ran in the 2011 Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship and I know that Subaru South Africa entered a team in the SA series.

F1Fan....

Nice research work! From what I could find, they ran AWD in the Speed series.

Thanks David.

The research was easy, deciding which car to run is hard! At the moment I have a Fly BMW, Fly Alfa and Spirit Peugeot in various stages of preparation. Sitting on the work-bench beside them are a pair of Subaru's from Avant and Ninco. Not to mention the Ninco Merc and Audi TT in the drawer, as well as the two cars that just finished the series!!

Decisions, decisions!

Cheers

Chris

Hi All,

Well, I have the Vegemite Express stripped down and cleaned (apart from significant F22 tire dust, it was in really good shape...), just about ready to come up with yet another average set-up for 2013...

I read that the series is reducing to 10 rounds - do we have a track list (not schedule or order) yet? So I can something else to blame at getting it wrong?

I believe the rules are pretty much as they were for the past series, and the entry fee / payment method / postage address for sending the sacrifices to remain the same?

Can't say the #66 will look any better than it did last time ( ), as I was cleaning the body, one of the decals fell off!

Cheers, Tony.

We don't have a track list yet, I'll start working on that soon and I think the only rules changes at this time are to allow the other Spirit Pug since I don;t really see much of a difference between the two.

Stack is right the other pug is considerably wider, why allow it when the touring one is still availabe and more closely aligned with the other eligible cars.
