Simple does not mean less or worse. In this case I think its darn near perfect. There is enough "scenic" to add to the ambiance of a very well executed and clean track plan.
I tip my hat and off a hearty "WELL DONE" ! !
** now about laying that rubber down . . .. get to it man!
Thanks 2FER and Dom for the great comments. It has come together way better than I thought it would. Still have no idea what I'm doing with the space intended for pit garage. Guess I missed a measurement there. Now there's not enough room for it. Maybe just put up a pit wall and leave as is. So any suggestions are welcome. Dom the rubber is starting to come in.
Pukplyr has the same issue on his current track. Have a look at what he did in his gallery. I would put a pit wall section on either side of the light bridge. Optional is to route a slot on the other side to stage cars in as well.
I wish my scaley sport was that far along scenery wise.......
Question?
What did you use for the white walls around your curved areas? How did you secure the walls?
Thanks and great work again!
Thank you for sharing your build!
Very enjoyable to watch come together!

Hi Wayne and Thank You. For the guard rails I used 1 inch vinyl 1/16 thick and the blue outside is 2 inch 1/8 thick. I just routed a slot for it when I did the lanes and siliconed it in. It is strapping we use at work for our patio furniture all of it is made out of aluminum tig welded. It's not square box store stuff.
