Default I got open track as new..

I ordered what I consider a very expensive piece of track during the week. I came in opened with not packaging. When I asked them about that, they told me that they open them to test them against a very common issue. I asked what issue they are testing for, I did not get a reply.

Sounds to me like the sold me someone's returned track and full price.

A reply to what, a phone call, an Email, a text.....smoke signals?......

Why is it easier to believe they are trying to cheat you than save you some frustration and wasted time? Have you had an issue with their service previously?

Over many years I have had nothing but great service from HotSlots 1/32 and have every reason to assume that they would treat you the same.........

I have never had a problem with HotSlots, but I think they should have been more specific than "testing for a common issue". What is the issue? Why didn't they repackage the item? I would be skeptical too.

What track piece was it?

I bet that the rails may not have been fully seated and that they were checking to make certain that the rails were properly seated.

My experience with HotSlots has been extremely positive!

A ninco digital curved lane changer. - What ****ed me off the most at the time, was their blunt answer! They are not a bad store but the customer service can be better at time.

reply to a an e-mail.

To answer your first question: its not that I am being negative towards them, but really what issues ? when i asked I go no reply. How many people spend 80 dollars on a lane changer - have you? the least the could've have done it tell me what issue they were testing for.

Have I had a problem with them in the past? - yes more than one, it is irrelevant - but I bought a ninco digital powerbase kit and when it arrived I looked used and abused - I sent it back.

They are not a bad store... I buy from them on a regular basis. I wish they carried more NSR stuff but it is what it is.
