Is this the same "de-tuned" FF050 that scalextric uses in the Morris Minis?

Or is it the normal FF050 that Scalextric used in the F1 cars and super bikes?

Default Inquiring minds want to know.

The previous MGB Scalex released (rally car 83) didn't have a de-tuned FF but it is the same zoomer in all the other saloons they make. Personally if you run one of these on a non-mag track I recommend the motor Mark has from the Derby City racers. Very drivable.

I would also like to know Dr Diff's question. But I'd bet they are using the zoomer.

I also wonder about those black bumpers. Anyway, if you're not into fancy boxes for your shelf, Scaley is due shortly to release their light blue No. 48 Sebring MGB.

I saw a post from a Scalextric rep elsewhere that the black bumper is just a pre-production piece, and that final production will be chrome. We'll just have to wait and see.
