Switching from plastic to wood for our Caledonia club. The track is named after a track that was located south of Hamilton Ontario near the small town of Javis. It had quite a history but faded out after Mosport was opened.I hope to have it up and running by the end of the month.
Thanks guy's still working on it,received the taping tool yesterday from Luf.Working on some surface detail today patches, cracks and maybe some tire marks if I can make them look real.Drew I have had some cool colour modern F1 pic's printed and some vintage BW prints to frame for the walls.I got them off a DVD from Greg, the woman at the print shop wasn't a race fan but said wow these are cool!!!!
http://www.slotcarillustrated.com/po...reid=42900Here are some picture of the track with the scenery done.We race Thursday nights. So if anybody in the Hamilton Ont. area is interested in our club please PM for more info.Right now we have five members and are looking for one or two more.Thanks.

Reason: pictures
JT the track is 27 in. high,on 16x8 L shape. The drivers stations are on the main straight.I'm still doing scenery work and may add a couple of small grand stands. The landscape is suppose to to look like the area from the tracks namesake which was on the north shore of lake Erie. The real track was old school with hay bails on the corners to stop cars from going into the sand dunes.
