There were some other young people practicing at Ace before we started the Racing. They left before without staying to maybe racing in the later races because they said that they didn't have any Nascars. I saw that they were practicing with GT's and LMP's and tried to tell them to stick around for the later races but they left in a hurry. Shame that they didn't want to stay through one race that they didn't have cars for to be able to race in ones that they did have cars for.

First Race was for Nascar's with marshalled racing with the ai of a couple volunteers during different races for the Button.

As Ron annouced on Monday Night, the Annual Ace Hobbies "Rumball" Rally will be on Saturday, December 15, 2012 this year. As well as the annual competition for the "Best" Rumballs brought in that day, there will be an "On-Track" competition. The race that Ron envisions as annouced will be of the original Monday Night races, which include DP's, C-2's, GT-2's and original Slot-it CAN-AM's. For this race each Racer will only be able to race each car for only one heat each. The order in which each racer races each car will be the racer's choice. The exact race start time will be TBA as there may be a slight chance that it may have to take place after a Magnet Nascar race if enough "younger" racers show up that Saturday and want to race. This race should prove to be Fun as we could have one car from each series racing on the track on any given heat. Remember, it will be up to each individual racer to determine which lanes he wants to race each car on. It is suggested for Teching the cars, that they be brought to tech together in some way that they could be kept together after tech.

Today the week before the Annual "Rumball Rally", Ace Hobbies welcomed "Nick" of Yellow Dog and Supertire Fame which means some store credits were available along with some store credits contributed by the parents of one of the young racers present.
The first Race was as usual a box stock Magnet Nascar race with 4 young racers and 9 adult aged racers. The Store credits given out were for the first place of race overall, and for 5th place overall, Plus for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place young racer. in the Nascar race.

Welcome Johnny first time magnet racer.

I almost thought it was a Monday night race day for the amount of no-magnet guys at Ace Hobby today! 14 drivers came ready to race, the field had mostly scalextric Nascars but there were a couple SCX cars on the track. There was some mayhem and carnage during the race, Like Ron says "There is nothing like the sound of plastic smashing and breaking".

and Surprise of Surprises but "Geo" George shows up to race magnet cars on the New track after he last said that he wouldn't come again mainly because of what he thought were really restrictive rules with the No-Magnet cars which have recently been expandened to include NSR and othe manufascturers cars include in several of the series.
