Default Best tires for Ninco track

I have a rather large Ninco track (215 ft) with all variations of straights, high and low speed turns. I run all types of 1/32 slot cars and enjoy the challenge of experimenting. Does anyone have any recommendations on the best tires to run on a Ninco track, which is a sort of rough hard rubber compound compared to Carrera or Scaley tracks? Also, I wonder if there is a good tire app chart listing all the various slot cars and available tires for them.

I really like the NINCO Laprene tires on my N-Digital track. Plenty of grip without a lot of wear.

Best regards,
Brian

I have a sentimental affinity for good old rubber which usually works well enough on Ninco's gritty surface if the tires aren't too aged. I'm not sure if a ribbed tread like SCX and Ninco rally tires gives better handling on such an extremely textured surface, or a slick like Cartrix and Slot.it?

Default Magnet ??

Hi, Colsanders1955, I recently aked the same question a week ago on this site about what type of tire i could us on my Ninco track. Mainly because i was going no magnet racing. I have been using a softer rubber than what comes standard on most cars. However you failed to tell us if you were using magnets or not. Most here will tell you that the car will handle totally different with no mag verses running with a magnet.Robert

The leoprene tires work good and get better after the tires warm up. They get sticky. I think the slot.it P5 do the same.

Default challenge of experimenting

C.....1955.

Having said that, give Paul @ Paul Gage tires a try..........Just Google him and you'll find him.

His tires (Urethane) come in several compounds and he is VERY helpful to aid you in your choices.

Currently I'm prepping a couple cars for the CanAm Proxy and their both running on the "extra-soft" compound and they stick like glue on my N-digital track....

Just my 2cents..

Dick
