Lotus 40 chassis

Anyone have any suggestions for a good aftermarket chassis for the Lotus 40?

First of all, the body sits very low and a sidewinder would be the best bet to set up if you are including any amount of interior. The HRS2 has been a scratch builder's go-to chassis since it was created and stills handles the best right out of the box. That is where I would start.

Morse, The HRS and HRS11 chassis are 1/32 scale, and the Lotus 40 (TSR06) is 1/24, as I am sure you are aware........A parma Flexi, JK, or other stamped 1/24 chassis will work, but a "Retro" D3 chassis or chassis kit, (many variations available online) will work even better.
