Well, I don't race either of those classes but I may stop by in the afternoon to check out the fun and maybe help with a bit of turn marshalling.

I was doing some searching last night and I found a post that (I think by Alan?) and had the Toyota's requiring the 1mm weight kit to just make the minimum requirement. Can someone confirm this?

Last year, I ran in the East Coast Nationals at Race Wear, and ran a Toyota. It took a complete 1.0mm weight kit, plus I believe I used the magnet pocket weight from a Porsche weight kit, to make the minimum weight.

Default Toyota needs weight!!!

The BRM Toyota will need at least a 1mm weight kit, minimum. It may need more as mentioned by Robert above.

The weights must be fitted in the correct positions, and can not be modified. The Porsche and Toyota magnet replacement weight is the same so is legal.

Great, thanks for the additional info.

On a unrelated note, I wonder my smiley was blocked out on post #19? It was a very innocent smiley, lol
