ROUND 2 PIONEER & SCALEXTRIC TRANS AM - CASCADES RACEWAY

After being away for a couple months it's back to Dan's in just 2 weeks for the
second round of the Trans Am cars . Dan's track worked well with the PG XPG
urethane tires in both the IROC and Series races .

HOLIDAY KING ; Car , well this week it's a scaley 2 wheeler . It was RamJet's
so it was yellow and we've never ran one on a routed track . A steep learning
curve but some good times by the end of the stage .

To Vic , To Pat and To Roger

HOLIDAY IROC ; Cars , Dan's Carrera DTM's . The Cars loved the track and
gave some incredibly close racing . With only 2 laps separating the top 4 racers .
Thanks for a great set of IROC cars !

To Roger , To Greg and To Dan

http://www.slotcarillustrated.com/po...1&d=1513306958

PIONEER & SCALEXTRIC TRANS AM ; The field was pretty even with 3
Mustang's and 3 Camaro's . Again the cars performed like champs with many
heats of close competitive racing . Staying in the slot was the only edge .
Mustang's took 3 of the top 4 positions .

To Pat , To Dan and To RamJet

ROUND 3 PIONEER & SCALEXTRIC TRANS AM - VICTORY LANE

To Vic's for the 3rd Round of the Trans Am Series . It's hard to believe but
it's been six years sense it all started for EMSA . A step back to our first
Series . Same Car for a few of us and as before a competitive series with
races going down to the last heat .

HOLIDAY KING ; Car , Roger's black Slot-It AEG Mercedes Sauber C9
Group C car . Fitted with much more motor and longer gearing for the big
tracks . Tires we're weak but once it got going , it got going !

To Greg To Roger and To Vic

HOLIDAY IROC ; Car's , Vic's Pro Slot PorscheGT2's . As always a fun set
giving us some great side by side racing . The yellow car in lane 1 was a
little off the pace of the others but we all had to take our lumps .

[/b] To greg , to Roger and To Pat

PIONEER & SCALEXTRIC TRANS AM ; So far it's been the Greg and Roger
show , Will it continue ? In the first 2 rounds the Mustangs have had their
way with the Chevy's . This week after two less than stellar rounds Greg
found the wheels to his 69 Penske Camaro and completed the Hat Trick !

ROUND 4 PIONEER & SCALEXTRIC TRAN AM - SCALERACING CENTER

Starting the New Year at the Center , first with the Yearly Meeting and then
the racing . As far as the rules and race format nothing has changed . After
this many years EMSA seems to have it down where it all works for everyone
involved .

HOLIDAY KING ; Back to the strip for this weeks stage with a 959 Porsche
up against a Subaru STI . The 959 held a early edge the STI . fortunately we
just score off the reaction time . With the RT's in the hundredths we moved
the decimal 1 to the right to maintain Stage gaps .

To Bob , To Pat and To Clark

HOLIDAY IROC ; Being behind the eight ball most the day in my haste to get
to Alan's I spaced on the IROC cars . Alan graciously offered up his Megane's
for the segment . They gave us a great race with 2 sectors deciding the winner
and only 1 lap separating Podium .

To Alan , To Roger and To Pat

POINEER & SCALEXTRIC TRANS AM ; With the help form Baba Loo going into
turn 1 on the first lap and a miscue of of own in the second minute I managed
2 laps in the first heat . The race became the Roger & Roger show with RamJet
hanging on for the win . With some help from the racing Gods and a couple
unlucky offs for Greg I crawled back to land on the Podium .

To RamJet , To Roger and To Pat

ROUND 5 PIONEER & SCALEXTRIC TRANS AM - RAINIER RACEWAYS

Up to Greg's and Rainier Raceways for the 5th Round of the Trans Am Series .
Just sitting around waiting for Roger when I get a call from Dan asking if we
had room for another rider . (Certainly) so Dan makes his racing debut at
Greg's . It's a steep learning curve but Dan was up to the challenge .

HOLIDAY KING ; Car , we started with Roger's Slot-It GT 40 Greg made
it Roger didn't . A quick repair and half a lap later the same . So a restart
was in order this time around running Dan's Slot-It Gulf 962 . I'm not sure
on the tires but one could get about 3 quick laps before times started to
fade .

To Vic , To Greg and To Pat

PIONEER & SCALEY TRANS AM ; I'm not sure whats going on with me lately
but this is the second week in a row I've started out the Series Race with a
single digit heat . I wasn't the only one to have off issues as every one had
their moments . Dan had an excuse with it being his first visit but Greg , Vic
and Roger all took their turns off the track . In the end it was Vic and myself
tied for the lead . I with 1 more lap and Vic with one more Win .

To Vic , To Pat and To Greg

HOLIDAY IROC ; Cars , Scaley NASCAR Digital . Things started up with a
small glitch as lanes 1&2's controllers we're flip flopped . No biggy , a quick fix
by Greg and we we're off and running . About 3 heats into the race the car in
lane 1 caught a bug and refused to continue . It was getting late so we called
it a night .

ROUND 6 PIONEER & SCALEXTRIC TRANS AM - THE BRICKYARD

Out to Bob's with hand full of vintage Japanese Vinyl LP's for Bob to sit
back and enjoy on his new Blumenstein Speakers and amps . Hopefully
with the Sheffield , Dave Grusin and Ajia albums he'll hear things he's
never heard before or at least in a different way . Most importantly was
Russell back having a good time at the track . Great to see you

HOLIDAY KING ; Car , well Roger spent some time last week on his
Slot-It GT40's lead wires so Bob said lets give it a try . Roger led things
off and quickly dropped into the high 7's . Vic took it down another 4 one
thousendth's . Bob and I in the 8.0's then RamJet makes up for some bad
stages with a 7.877 to take the win .

To RamJet , To Vic and To Roger

HOLIDAY IROC ; Cars , Scaleys from over the pond a MGB , Cortina , XKE
and a token GT40 to round out the field . Couple heats into the segment
Bob serves up some music from the Spy Who Shagged me to go with the
Austin Powers Jag . A race of off track excursions as RamJet once again
lands on the top set of the Podium .

To RamJet , To Pat and To Vic

http://www.slotcarillustrated.com/po...1&d=1516245957

PIONEER & SCALEXTRIC TRANS AM ; For the nights finale Russ requests
a little Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble . Well the House Was Rockin
we were racing on a Tightrope and most of us got caught in the Crossfire .
If one concentrated on the music and not the racing or the track I can say
it went pretty well . RamJet had a great night just missing the Hat Trick by
one spot . (sorry Rog)

ROUND 7 PIONEER & SCALEXTRIC TRANS AM - R AND S RACEWAYS

It's been far to long but EMSA makes it back to one of our favorite Venues
as Russ opens the doors to his new raceway . A routed track on his old table
8 X 20 . It has about a 2 foot incline on the back stretch followed by his own
version of the Corkscrew making it's way back to the infield . Throw in the
fuel management system and that sets the stage for some fun racing .

HOLIDAY KING ; Car , Vic's Vanquish McLaren , Running a straight axel and
shod with huge NSR Super Grip Tires . The track or the tires started things
off a little green as the first 3 slipped and slid around the track . Things got
better as Dan set the gap between 1st and last to nearly 3 tenths .

To Dan , To Roger and To John Q

HOLIDAY IROC ; Cars , Russ rolled out a set off Spirit 406 Silhouette's , quick
cars and other than lanes 1 & 2 being a little slick gave us a great introduction
to the nuance's of the track . The Red car in lane 4 started strong early in the
segment with the Silver car from lane 3 finishing as the quickest .

To Vic , To Pat and to Dan

http://www.slotcarillustrated.com/po...1&d=1517072399

PIONEER & SCALEXTRIC TRANS AM ; After the warm up segment and the
introduction to fueled racing it was time to get to it . The Paul Gage urethanes
adapted well to the track as all lanes held their own . Dan's Green , Alan Green
Camaro was super quick and figured to be the car to beat . We all had our heats
with wins spread a crossed the board . Dan led the way with Laps and Wins for
the night capping off a stellar evening for the young man from Lacey .

FINAL ROUND PIONEER & SCALEXTRIC TRANS AM - MASENCHAMPS

With new garage lights installed this run at Blair's wasn't a twilight event
like encountered the last time through . Moved the heater to another wall
outlet and it's time to get things started .

HOLIDAY KING ; Car , Roger's Red Monogram Lola equipped with a Scale
Auto motor and a set of ScaleAuto white striped foamy's worn down to the
minimum as the axle gear rattled the track on every acceleration . Roger
showed us all who owned the car setting the pace and taking the win by
nearly 4 one hundredth's . After running leadoff in every stage sense the
3rd race Greg holds on for the series win .

To Roger , To Pat and to Greg

HOLIDAY IROC ; Car's , Blair rolls out a set of Scaley BMW Z4's shod with
new Slot-It N18's . The cars were pretty equal and ran very smooth . I was
fortunate to pull off my best Tim Elvins impression only getting 4 laps in the
first heat but conveniently didn't open the DS on Race Manager and got a
restart . Didn't help that much , still landing 4th but it gave us the best race
of the night with only 2 laps separating the top 4 .

To Vic to Blair and to RamJet

Pioneer & Scalextric Trans Am ; My old green Mustang was on point for the
Finale . Bouncing down the track all night long . I was able to stay out of most
everyones way throughout the night . There were plenty of great heats and a
lot that went to the wire . Off's told the story this week

To Pat , To Vic and To RamJet
