Default Looking good.

Thanks for sharing this paint job. How does this car perform for you on Sport Track?

I see you are running Scaleauto sponge on the rear, are they hooking up?

the car performs well, I'm using scaleauto tire cleaner on the sponge tires for grip and have yet to add any weight to the chassis and this car runs comparable times to my heavily modded cars. (no mag)

Very nice and clean livery. Haven't started my kit yet, waiting to decide on livery. Same with the Viper kit. The Scaleauto sponge tires don't work very well on my Sport track. Slot-It C1 or BRM ultra soft work best.

Default Dempsey/Proton to DiSCA/Proton 991

Thought I'd share some pictures here of the Porsche 991 GTE I build for the Oxygen Le Mans 24hrs. Build two of them, one was a white kit, the other a "stripped" RTR body. Bodies were painted in two base colors, Tamiya Light Blue (TS23) and Tamiya Black (TS14). Decanted the paint in a cup and Airbrushed a very thin layer, no primer.

Decals were designed in Illustrator and were laser printed. Almost a full body wrap, some 6hrs of decalling per car.

Can definately vouch for the competitiveness of the car, Ok I tweaked the chassis here and there, so it was not completely "stock", but we won our class and finished 5th overall behind 4 LMP1's.
So its a runner all right. And after 24 hrs of digital racing she still looks good..minor damage

With kind regards
Tamar

Lots of work on that paint and decalling Tamar. Decanting is the way to go. Nice job.

What does "Decanting" mean?

Icemandecals, I am looking for some decals to do a 1/32 997 or 991. How do I go about finding what you have available?
Thanks, Rich

One way to go is Pattos Place Decals . Get on the site , on the left side of the home page
click on P scroll down to Porsche GT3 he has a lot of liveries . I would suggest to use the
peal & stick decals over the water slide unless you use a Future or Micro Clear as a over
coat on them .

Good luck .
