I am hoping they do the 600 and not the 850 - I could find lots of photos of 600 racing against NSU and Gordini but not many 850s

I'm hoping they do the 600 instead of the 850 as well, the 600 is just a much cooler looking car.

If there's one Fiat 600 to be produced, it must be the Abarth 1000TCR !!
That's the one I want, since I was 10 years old ... (I'm 64 now)
I do have them in 1/32, but I'm waiting for a 1/24 ...

Yes, it's SCX or Scalextric who has/had a Gulf version, with lights.
There's also a white one with the scorpion on top, from Reprotec.
I have them both in my 1/32 collection...
But the real one is the one in the original Abarth grey, with red checkered roof.

I think the latest NSU cars looks awesome. Has anyone run these? Interested in feedback before I buy one. ~Ron

I enjoy all my BRM cars. The metal chassis weights the car well. All that is needed are the tyres de jour for the track. Great cars. The consistency in their quality brings the emphasis back to driving skills away from tuning and preparation skills leading to close and fun racing. On a bigger track they just look "right".

I like 1/24 scale cars more than 1/32 cars these days as I can see more of what the car is doing on the track. This involvement in the car's behaviour leads to greater enjoyment for me. With the current speeds the premium 1/32 cars achieve I feel I am along for the ride a ride that is an accident awaiting to happen.

I got the Gulf NSU and the green Gordini.
It's a bit difficult to set up the rear axle to the correct angle (and camber), it keeps binding and rubbing speed. And I don't seem to be able to setup camber at the rear. If I change the axle angle to a more 'straight', then binding gets worse.
At some point I managed to find a good setting and cars worked ok, but camber is too much and tires will go off soon.
Apart from that, they are close runners. On a Ninco track they fit nicely, only problem is that they pass over the barriers easily and can end up on the floor. So need to be careful.

Hey Ron,

Just got my NSU... Lots of fun to drive. Should be even better when I break it in and massage it a bit.

Where did you get that green Gordini, since it not on the market yet.

I think you mistake it for the Simca
