NINCO Nürnberg 2009 news and win an SCI Award for best LMP Car
They were very proud to receive their SCI Award and thanked the readers for their support of the NINCO line.
They were showing a lot of new items from NINCO 1 a starter range through to a New 1/28th Scale Metal Chassis Porsche. This car runs very well and NINCO intent to bring out a complete Club line over time including tools and parts to support this New Scale.

Great! That's what we all need: another SCALE for slot racing! As if the market isn't crowded (and confusing) enough for the consumer with 1/24, 1/32, 1/43 and HO....

I wondered about this, too, but then it hit me that Vanquish cars never really confused anything, and Racer cars never really confused anything. If somebody started making 1:100 scale cars, I don't think it would change a thing.
It seems that it doesn't get confusing unless you add another track scale. We can add car scales all day without really changing anything. I'd rather that XLOT was 1:32, but if it's gotta be 1:28, no big deal in my book.
Perhaps NINCO went with a 1/28 scale due to knowledge that 1/24 cars are a tight fit on NINCO track. As we have seen in Atlanta with the BRM 962's, the racing can be good on NINCO track, however, there is not a lot of space between two 1/24 cars running side by side.
Having both NINCO Acura LMP2 releases myself, I personally thought that NINCO's award was well earned. If you haven't purchased a NINCO car in some time, may I suggest the Acura LMP2 cars along with the NINCO Moslers as a good starting point. I believe I could get an "amen" from both Kurt and Mark.
Looking at the pictures, the XLOT really doesn't look that much bigger than the Corvette lol. There are pictures with the XLOT, Exige, and Corvette all together. It gives a good idea of how big or small the XLOT is.
Great cars coming this year: I'll surely get me one of those GT40s - maybe it'll even be my entry in a certain proxy race...? The Porsches and the 'Vette look very sharp too. Guess I'll be spending more money on slots this year than I originally programmed...

Can't help but feel a bit like Old23: why do we have to have a new scale, with all the other ones still around? Not to be polemic, but a "middle" scale between 1:32 and 1:24?
I know that all I have to do is not to buy cars that are 1:28, right? At first maybe. But perhaps others will buy them and so it I want to race with the boyz I'll have to get me some too, eh? Frankly I don't have the slightest idea of what will become of that scale commercially, but I don't think we really need it... just MHO.

Well, I agree with you Fernao, to a point.
Let me ask you this -- do you already race an NSR class, where that's what everybody is driving? (or any class where everybody is driving the same type of car)
If so, then how would these cars be any different?
