Slot it Super Series Fall Season 2009

Hello Everyone,

That time of year is almost upon us. Pete and I have laid down the dates for the upcoming Fall Season.

Here they are:

Friday Oct 9 (Fun Run, no points and a Big BBQ for everyone that comes out!)
Friday Oct 16
Friday Oct 23
Friday Oct 30
Friday Nov 6
Friday Nov 13
Friday Nov 20
Friday Nov 27
Friday Dec 4
Friday Dec 11
Friday Dec 18

As for the Rules, they are the EXACT same as last season. The Full rule set will be posted in the hobby shop for everyone to see.

Here they are:

- Any Slot it car allowed
- Any Racer Sideways DP allowed

- Any Stock Slot it parts (No F1 Rims/Tires)
- Any Slot it motor
- Any Slot it tires (No F1 Tires)
- No HRS Chassis

- Any manufacturer Axles
- Any manufacturer axle shims

- No Body modifications, (minor ones for clearance are ok and subject to the Tech Directors final say. If you are unsure, ASK Franco)
- No Slot it F1 Rims or Tires - This is because we still want the cars to look right. If we allow them, everyones rear tires will look Stupid.


- Lead weight must be above the chassis.
- Wheels/tires must NOT be visible from above.
- Front tires must touch the track. (At least one side, this allows for bent chassis's)
- Motors can NOT be tampered with. (motor shaft can be cut)
- No Lexan interiors
- Minimum ride height - So I can see daylight from under the chassis. As low as you want without any part of the car scraping on the track.

We are going to use the track controllers

10 Race Series with 2 Drops.

Hello everyone,

I present the First Race Report of the Fall Season, it looks like we had 5 entries for the Modified race. I was away, but rest assured I will not miss another for the rest of the Fall Season.

It looks as if there was some good racing going on. Tom took the win! with Achim taking the second spot and Adam on the podium. Any team orders in effect guys?

It sounds as if we had a first time racer by the name of John, Pete commented on his speed. I hope fun was had. A 159 is not bad at all for your first time on the track.

Here was the finishing order:

It was good to get the first Official Points Race under our belts, I hope to see an even bigger crowd out this Friday Oct 23rd for the Second race.

There are no and will never be any team orders between our 2 drivers. Neither of us listen that well. Also if we are racing on the same lap on the last heat there could be some fireworks on the track.

John did OK running my backup car. I was looking back on old results and in early Jan at one of my first races I had only 156 laps and I was not last.

My DP needs help. I have the top end but I am loose off the turns.

We had 6 Entries for the Mod Slot it Race. The racing is Super Fast with these cars.

The whole field had an Awesome Race!!! except for Bill, we need to look at the DP Bill, see whats going on.

Achim was running a Newly Prepped Mazda 787b, this car has some serious potential!!!

Hi Guys,

I would just like to thank everyone for their patience over the last couple weeks. The Hobby Show is in the books! It was an awesome show and I have a feeling we picked up more than a few racers.

Now the highly anticipated Race Report.

Tom grabbed another Win. Nice man!

Phil was about a lap down, it looks like he had some trouble on his "favorite" lane.

Achim had a Fantastic Run! He edged out Serge by inches for the Podium!!!

The Track is open 5 Days a week Serge, I can give you a few bucks off some tracktime.

That goes for you too Bill!

We had a Guest Racer and All around Good Guy out from Ottawa. Robin did just fine for his first Race here. Next time you are here I hope to be as well.
