and I'll show you mine!
I'm still a novice with making decals for myself with the computer and printer. Most of the time I attempt to do period cars with period historic realism but sometimes I go a little selfish and just do what I want. The entrants from the Cheetah proxy were discussing next years liveries and what is period correct. So I wondered how many of us do our own thing too? It is a hobby.
The Castrol Scalextric Taurus is my first attempt about 5 years ago. Just the cheap "white car" with an assortment of decal scraps. Sure is easy to follow on the track. I think I eBayed her last year.
Then the Sox got real good and I made a baseball Camaro. Again from the cheap "white car". It has since been repainted.
Next I had a friend make some Butterfinger stickers in his sign shop when the boss wasn't looking. My racing is kinda butter-fingered anyway. The grille smilie was my idea. The kids like it. It just makes me hungry. Still got this one.
Last was a recent Flyer Riley I pinstriped flames on but the decals again were left over from my scraps of modeling over the years. Anybody remember the Pepsi challenge? I think it was back when they launched the New Coke. (no the other coke!)
