Default Tire Size Chart

Hey Guys, i see there's a chart for just about everything when it comes to 1/32 Slot Cars, gears ,motors etc. But i have yet to find one on Tire sizes. EXAMPLE !! i have several Ninco Moslers, the #7 Lightining model has differrent size rear rubber on it, then say the DHL and the #9 Gulf has. I know the reason why this is so on the Lightining, but try to find anything remotely close for a replacement is a chore. Has anybody ever seen a tire size chart,is a chart even possable to make?. Robert

Take a look here, lots of useful info in the various posts.

For information specific to NINCO, then you might do better to post your query here.

Interesting post, not so concerned with the fitment aspect due to all the different rib variances but final drive ratio is affected by this. Maybe someone will have something on that....As to fitment the after market tires have a number of charts available, the manufacturers tires not so much and what is available is all over the place and time consuming to wade through for someone with the patience of a gnat such as myself. Hope you find what you are looking for....

Thanks for your input Wet Coast @ Biggy. I know this sounds like a simplistic way of doing things, but why can't the Manufactuer of a Slot Car or Company that makes the tires put a letter or # marking on a given size in the tire. Slot it molds it's name on the side wall of their tires so it could be done. Or mold the size inside the tire.(inner tread area) Then all you would have to do is look up the number. I have tried to find tires on the internet, without a # ,the tire company lists their stock # on the carded item and type of compound ,but a lot of times it dosen't say what car it fits. There should be a standard # set for the tires so you don't allways have to go to the Slot car manufactuer for a number. This could be done similar to the way they currently list Tire Compounds. I must be missing somethng here or dreaming. Robert
