Well Spring has sprung and so has the new releases from Tomy AFX. Following up on their release of the 24 Hours Championship race set, AFX has turned loose another 4 fantastic renditions of the Audi R10 and Peugeot 908. It's been a very long time since anyone has offered team cars in HO scale, based on prototype cars with "Team Colors". Tyco did the TRX Team Racing cars in the 80's, which were fictitious color schemes. You have to go way back to the original Aurora AFX and the Porsche 917-10 RC Cola cars of #16 and #23 to get actual replicas of the racing machines you could see at the track or maybe TV, if "Wide World of Sports" was covering Can-Am that weekend!
