WOW - Tricky wiring deal - impressive - two tracks in one. I really get a kick out of the "dented up" figure 8 cars. Is that cotton ball "steam" coming out of that '54 Chevy radiator? That is like the best thing I have seen. lol.
And great that your kids are enjoying the races.
Gotta love those 1:1 Vintage Sprint Cars (and the 1:24s). Is that a Hudson Six powered Sprint Car?
I also really like that 1:1 Modified - trying to place which car it is - the nerfs and body style remind me of one of the later Holmburg 9A coupes, or looks like it could be the Baldwin #7 coupe, and it also looks like the Bugsy Wood Chopper Coupe (which looks like a twin to Holmburg's car) posted by RichD.... Anyway, was this a car that was raced locally on Long Island? More importantly - do you still have it? The stance is perfect.
I think the tracks and cars are great - Can you post up some more pix of the other modified coupes that are in the infield shots? Looks like you have enough for an entire Modified Feature field...
I know I have too many questions - but there is a lot to look at here...
Come to think of it, I like it all. I think all of this stuff is great.
While I appreciate the still pics from the slot car track, really, a place like that needs to have videos of the action posted on youtube to do it justice. Digital video cameras that will give good quality for all the mayhem that I'm certain takes place there, are relatively inexpensive these days.
Racing and Crashing for JellyBeans... quite a few of my Daughters builds.. a blast to build and run.. pure crazyness .. ( track record goes to the yellow 56 Chev 61.. by my oldest and nobody is close..hehe ) wood
