Default RAAce #2 Route 66 Raceway

Hello RAAce fans!

Dave L and I ran over 1,200 laps today with a varied group of cars. All wore sillies , split about 50/50 S2s and Super Tires with the odd S1 thrown in for good measure.

Super Tires vs Super Tires, stock motor vs Boxer/2 in the Audi....Audi Wins!

Desmo Owners group had a little get together in the infield...

Grid girls liked the Jager, but the S2s were as Dave said "Tire Limited".

S2s on the F40 vs Super Tires on the 997. It wasn't this close but the Super Tires made the 997 almost the equal of the F40 (Orange vs NC-5).

The Beer Wagon still rules this place....The Saleen was easy to drive on stock power and S1s. The 956KH was putting in several 6.0s to the Saleen's lethargic 7.0s.

Genesis controller was deemed an advantage due to better and smoother brakes. Both of us were using Custom Resistor Networks in our Difalco's with about 190 ohms overall split with three resistors 6/8/10. Max brakes, TC off, and sensitivity between 3-5.

Looking forward to the cars getting here so we can RAAce!

Cheers!
Paul

Moby Dick's Shootout car liked this track last year, just needed more power! Remember, we are over a mile high here so you loose about 20% of your HP (well, not really....).

Cheers!

Default Silicone Groved, huh? Paints a picture, almost ...

Looking forward to this one - let's hope that track is good to an F40 with S1s on it.

Looking forward to the race Paul.
I expect my P entry to have a hard time keeping up with the monster magnetic attraction of the big blocks.

As I recall the lancia was packin' 800hp of twin-turbocharged power last year.
No wonder it was gasping for air. I'd better crank up the boost in the Nissan to 20psi. or so to offset the high altitude.

Hmm. Somebody must have gotten a hold of my thought process! There are more magnetic tracks than non magnetic. ;-)

Default Video of the Bier Wagen cruising Route 66...

Just a Monday drive around Route 66. Most laps were in the low 6.3s, "beep" lap was a 6.145. Track wasn't super clean so track record wasn't in jeopardy.

Cheers!
Paul
