first to explain is the change of venue for this round. Instead of The Nub in Lombard IL we have been invited to the Paramount Ranch in close-by Elmhurst IL. And had a wonderful time. See pics. The Nub will host us later when our cars come back to the area after a tour of North America. Paramount Ranch is a routed four lane track in Kevin's garage than hosts several groups and clubs for weekend racing. The track is 54 feet per lap and has 14 volts of juice. As you see he uses Trackmate for scoring and the deadstrip/starting line is right before his right angle leading onto the big straight. History buffs will know of the raceway at the Paramount Studio back lot in California known as the Ranch. this resemble it nicely. Great fun to drive. We didn't damage too many cars.
Later I will fashion a spread sheet like Boopiejones made for us last year but for now here are the results for Class A: We ran 2 minute heats per entrant on each lane. First place goes to car 130 the Porsche 550, with just shy of 71 total laps! Second was MGA number 32 with 70.67 laps! Third goes to car 78 the old English white MGTD with 67.3 laps! Sadly we erased the lap times when setting up for Class B before I could record a few. We were running late last night. Cars lapped around the 6 second mark. But we did keep Class B times for you to see.
Here's the rundown of the rest of Class A: 4th was the Morgan 28 with 65.1 laps, 5th was the MGA 19 with 64.3 laps, 6th was Porsche 6 with 63.7 laps, 7th Porsche 26 with 62.9, 8th Morgan 45 61.5, 9th the MGK3 car 20 with 58.7, and 10th the number 47 Porsche with 54.3 laps. Before I show you Class B here's my pics of Paramount Ranch. Fresh from the camera.
As we did last year points will be 10 for first and 9 for second and 8 for third with points awarded for every car in that order, first thru last.

With a few laps times thrown around too. Before I give these stats I must mention that each driver was very practiced with each car and amazed at many of them for the beauty and engineering of them. "You are artists and craftsmen of very high regard." to quote them.
O.K. first and 16 points goes to car 25 the blue Jag with a completion of 74.4 laps and a fast time of 6.14 sec. However car 128, a Cunningham did 72.85 laps for second while recording a fastest lap of 5.87 sec. Next in third came the 300SLR number 24 doing 72.80 laps (close!) weith a fastest lap of 5.87 also! Wha-a-a?
Fourth is car number 4 the Lancia with 72.6 and running a 5.86! Wow. Fifth is car 23 the Ferrari doing 71.9 with a 6.13. Next at sixth car 18, the autoArt C type going 71.7 laps with a 6.25 burst.
Seventh the Ferrari coupe 68 with 70.8 and a 6.19 sec. lap. Eighth to Ferrari 87 also tied at 70.8 but had a fast lap of 6.23, which broke the tie. Ninth place goes to the Ferrari number 21 with 69.6 laps and a 6.09 fastest lap. Tenth was the Allard at 69.3 laps turning a fast lap of 6.23 seconds. Eleventh goes to Car 5 a white and red Ferrari 166MM doing 68.6 laps with a 6.37 hot lap. Twelfth (can I use numbers now?) O.K. 12th is the Concourse winning Maserati 300S getting 65.5 laps and a 6.73 sec lap. 13th was the other blue Jag 120 at 64.6 with a 6.23 (somethin' happened) 14th went to the Ferrai 42 with 61.4 laps and he turned a 6.47 hot lap. 15th was the second Cunningham going 59.8 laps with a fastest of 6.29. And finally the beautiful fly yellow Ferrari 166 Berlinetta coupe made 43.0 laps and struggled to a 7.91 fastest lap. Might be the choice of tires. Which is possible for a lot of cars. Added to the fact that the Paramount Raceway hosts mostly silicone shod racers. You are now welcome to comment. Congratulations to all. Next race in a week. In Bridgeview. See ya.

Reason: took a break
Thanks Don for posting the results We are "up and running' Congrats to the top dogs. Also a BIG thank you to the race hosts. What a great looking track , looks like a lot of fun to run on that one.
Wow, the ol' fat pig managed a fifth, I'm more than happy with that considering the cars heft. Very glad to get the ball rolling and looking forward to another event next weekend. Thanks to all the folks at Paramount for getting round one in the books.
Do we have an official score keeper? It would be be nice to see the results in a more standard table form.
Oh, and congratulations to those who finished on the top of the leader board.
Alright! the race is on. Been looking forward to the start of this years series. Thanks for getting it going Don. And thanks to the race host and all of the drivers. And congrats to all the podium winners. Looks like my MGA is doing well, and old pin head Skippy Welcher did alright for himself in the led sled jag at 6th place in class B.
This is gonna be fun.

Wow! A Class A win to start the TLOR12 season. That sure beats my last place finish at the start of last year. Looks like it was a real fight for that top step on the podium: less than a third of a lap in eight minutes of racing.
My congrats to all the other racers in both classes. I look forward to seeing these cars when they hit the Autodrome.
Many thanks to the race host at Paramount Ranch, the excellent drivers who kept my car on the track, and most of all to Silverhelmet for getting this wonderful circus on the road again.
You don't know which car you sent? Memory, the last part of a guy to go soft...
Yeah Monte, I do remember which car I sent... dadburnnit, I ain't THAT old! What I'd like to know was mine the 4th place #45 Moggie or was it 8th place #45 Moggie?
My cars are pretty good but they do have a problem being in more than one place at one time... I haven't quite perfected the temporal displacement chip yet.
