Default 6th Annual Scaleracing National Finals.

6th Annual Scaleracing National Slot Car Finals coming to New Jersey.

I am pleased to announce we will be holding the 6th Annual Scaleracing National Finals September 7th - 9th.

These races will be held at The Race Place in Farmingdale New Jersey.

Actual address The Race Place 1151 Highway 33, Farmingdale, NJ, 07727.

Races will be held on their "Red Lightning" track, , see below:

I Hope to see a lot of SCI Readers at this Event.

Racing will start on the Friday evening, with the main focus on Testing for the out of town racers attending.

Saturday will be:
1/32 scale Slot.it Group C for close to STOCK Slot.it Group C Cars.

The Scaleracing Manufacturers Challenge.
This racing is a tuning class for Arrow, Avant Slot, Scaleauto and Slot.it LMP/GT1 type cars.

Entries and time permitting there will also be 1/24 scale BRM and Scaleauto Sprints on Saturday evening after the 1/32 scale program is over.

This will be determined by pre entries in the 1/32 scale classes so we can set the schedule for races.

Sunday will feature both BRM and Scaleauto 1/24th scale Endurance racing for 2 man Teams.

Entry fees for this Event are as follows:

Pit Pass which gives you access for all three days into The Race Place and unlimited Track Time ( will be run by classes )

Saturday National Final Sprints.

The featured races are Slot.it Group C which by design is a close to stock class and the Scaleracing Manufacturers Challenge for Arrow, Avant Slot, Scaleauto and Slot.it LMP/GT1 type cars. Default Updating Rules for the 6th Annual National Final.

These are the latest rules with amendments as needed.

Please note when editing the rules for Slot.it Group C I wrote as a potential wheel/tire SC-2007, this is not correct we use SC-2009 for Group C. SC-2007 is the tire for the Manufacturers Challenge.

In Slot.it Group C it is not required to have rear inserts with the Scaleauto wheels, same in Manufacturers Challenge.

BRM and Scaleauto 1/24th scale must have wheel inserts.

Default I have to check that out.

Thanks Lou,

OK back to the race.

Remember in the Endurance Races we are only open to eight Teams so first eight that step up and enter will be it.

I wil try to hold for different regions, to make it more fun right now

GA Region expected 2 entries.

MD Region expected 1 entry.

North East region ?

MD Region Race Wear has entered all events. 2 Drivers to be announced later.

Confirming following NJ teams that have been communicated to me:
- Robert Holt & Martin Dixon Robert Holt has entered all events.
- Glenn Orban & Brian Ferraro ( possibly Flying Lizard ) Brian (Slottofill) has entered all events.

NJ and PA racer:
- Joseph Rosales & Sam Barbose Sam has entered all events. Joseph has entered all events.

PA Region 1 entry.

- Racerdoug ( withdrawn family conflict )
- Dave Kennedy ( no entry yet )

I have heard from a Team from CA who intend to confirm early next week. (no entry yet )

So that would close the Grid for the Endurance races however I do need entries in as soon as possible to confirm this. I cannot hold grid spots open past Monday without entries.

I just registered for the Full Entry Pass, have a few questions:

- Does the entry fee include cost of handout tires?
- Are racers using their own motors?
- Have the motors allowed for the BRM and Scale Auto 1/24 endurance races been confirmed?

Thanks.

Default Good questions thanks Robert.

OK for the announced races.

Slot.it Group C, we will use the orange end bell Slot.it motor, I will dyno cars and any cans showing any sign of tampering will be required to fit a Brand New out of the package Slot.it motor at the tech table!! Tires hand out Scaleauto SC-2009.

Scaleracing Manufacturers Challenge, Motors are open so no issues there EXCEPT no opened or modified motors please. Tires hand out Scaleauto SC-2007.

BRM, hand out BRM Black can motor. Tires hand out will be determined at the Event.

Scaleauto, hand out motors and hand out tires. Fixed gear ratio 12:44 tire compound to be announced on the weekend.

Hope this helps.

Default Updating as entries come in.

Please if possible mention your cars you are entering. Especially in the Endurance races as it is much better to have 8 different cars if possible.

Also please be aware the Pit Pass is only a entry to the Raceway and practise entry.

Default Some are asking about other races at the Finals.

I normally hold BRM and Scaleauto Sprint classes at the Finals, and hope to hold them again this time along with the Megane IROC Races. However I need entries so I can plan these races, without entries it is almost impossible to schedule.

So if you are coming please enter the classes announced. The Full Ticket will include all races including additional races at no extra charge ( except tires )

So please if possible lets start getting people to commit so I can plan the event further.

My only other option is to do the schedule on the day, or run Sprints on Sunday but that will mean the day will end way beyond the planned 6.00PM.

So who is coming, please get your entries in, tell others so they can also enter. We will take entries on the day but not at the Discounted rates, so save some money, and help me get a good schedule set up.

See you at the Races.

Alan, I have been asking around about the BRM Megane Iroc race. Seems alot of us have a Megane or two that we would like to run. Is this a race we can maybe do if time allows on Saturday? Should anyone that has a Megane bring it to the event?
