Default Lotus Europa 62

Correct! Well done. Lou E is tied for 1st place with 1.00 point. It's the John Miles "Gold Leaf" Team Lotus Europa '62 winner Brands Hatch.

Default Am I correct?

A beautiful resin bodied ProtoSlot Kit [GM] Lola GT maybe.....just a hunch.
What's the verdict, Greenman62?

I think this one was modified by Greenman, this is one of my all time favorite cars I've see here.

Default It's kinda tricky...

It's the Mecom Lola GT in it's last livery before Augie Pabst stuffed it under the armco at Riverside (not really his fault). The body is Howmet TX's modified from (I think a Monogram original)... further modified by "ur fthfl srvnt". The paint is from MCW and is the proper Mecom Blue the decals are my own, as is the scratch built interior the chassis (with help from BWA)

Default Awesome Car Greenman62

Well at least I went for it! Olympus5 has a score of minus -1.00
The thread starter seems to be in the hole.....but look at the great pics of Greenman62's car for all to enjoy. As a result..... [of him being kind enough to take some time to post photos of his beautiful Lola]...... I think I came out pretty good.

Default Mystery Slot Car

How about this one? Yes, it's a slot car......my favorite 1.1 car of that era ['60's]......the particular type/name of the car may be known by various slot forum members but the manufacturer will test you.....really nice guy, by the way. Spoke to him via email recently.

I don't know what it is, but that sure is some nice modelling/chassis building.

Is it Greenman's 1965 Brabham BT17?

Out of interest, Lotus didn't include the name Europa on this car. It only looks similar. It is a Lotus 62 and actually had a custom space frame chassis and very distinct body work that differentiated it.

Ain't mine... I didn't do the Brabham... I did do a Ferrari 158... nowhere as nicely as the car above... see?
