Car Bodies: "All Classes"

*All cars must be of coupe design or a convertible must have the hard top installed as per prototype.
*All car bodies must be 1/25 or 1/24 styrene or resin cars that raced Trans/Am or SCCA from 1965-1975. Latitude towards model selection will be allowed, since many cars pre-1965 had several years of eligibility such as the Ford Falcon, or perhaps a SCCA 1963 Corvette Coupe in SCCA.
*IMSA/GTO Cars must be between 1975- 1995.
*Racing Sports Cars is a priceless web site to research car types that ran these events during these years, here's the link
http://www.racingsportscars.com/
*No modifications to original model kit body such as widening wheel opening diameters, or flaring of the fender sides, unless flares were included with original kit.
*All class bodies may be internally reinforced with compounds such as Shoo Goo or Epoxy resins.
*All class bodies must run the original kit glass, no lexan substitutes permitted, unless an original part of a resin kit.
*All class bodies must present a painted interior. Lexan interior trays with molded drivers are permitted, flat stuyrene interior trays may be scratch built with a driver and wheel added, such as the Champion 1/24 drivers. Original kit interiors are permitted, however, a driver must be added.
*All class bodies MUST have at least 2 sets of numbers to identify the car.
*All class bodies should be painted, however, if you choose to just clear coat the molded kit color, that is permitted.
*It is entirely up to the driver as to how you choose to mount the body to the chassis, keeping in mind that consistent, body mount failure during heats that causes track incidents or track calls, will result in black flag situations.

General Track and Race Rules:
If the rules stated on this page do not indicate a part or tuning method IS allowed, it is NOT allowed.
Any analogue or electronic controllers may be used. Bloom Raceway has house controllers for use if needed. Heats will be European rotation. You don't need a chassis for every car and may use one chassis for both class car races. There will be no track calls where cars can be marshalled. Cars must begin the races with all spoilers in place, but don't need to finish with them, if removed due to a crash. At this point in the developing series, cars may be repaired under caution so that all may enjoy their day of racing. Tires and braid may be cleaned in between heats.
