I had also recently gotten a meter of braid that came in a nifty dispenser, but this one is way better. The one it came with had no way to easily wind up excess braid if you pull it out a bit too far to cut off what you need. Also, no easy way to refill it with another meter. Making the hub with the pencil hole was genius. We have John Crawley to thank for that.

Have just gotten into 3d printing this winter, already getting some very useful results. I printed a couple of these, nice simple design and does the job well.

LOL, just because the photo is big, doesn't mean the thing is. ;-)
Those tick marks on the side are 1/8" apart.
The whole thing is just under 1.5" on each side, and 1/4" thick.
