New Avant Slot LMP chassis'

Well, anyone have a clue as to why there is an AW pod for these, since no motors seem to fit?

Well.....Avant also makes other Cars. I would assume that the Anglewinder pod is more for the Mirage GR8's and the Lotus Elise GT1 Race Car, or the Kremer K8...........or any other car they make without the Low Rear Body Section as on the LMP Cars.

Moral of the Story, get yourself a Mirage! I have been tuning one for a Couple weeks now and it is a Hell of a Car!!!

Avant Slot makes an angle-winder pod for the Kremer and Mirage, not for the other cars.

You can fit the angle-winder under the Porsche with the Slot.it Flat 6 type motor, but not under the other cars due in part to the scale appearance of these car.

Who is advising you to buy the angle-winder pod for the LMP cars, certainly if it's my Store I will gladly refund for anyone who asked.

The Lotus can also be build angle winder but the Pescarolo, Peugeot and Audi without serious modification can not.

Why is this Avant Slots fault?

I too bought a pod and chassis... but its okay. I still like their cars !!!
But maybe a note on the website Alan wouldn't be a bad idea. I too bought with the intention of putting it under the two Peugeot LMP.

I will add in on the chassis for the Audi, Porsche (unless you use a flat 6 ) Peugeot and Pescarolo that you can't use the angle-winder pod due to the low deck. As I said before if anyone bought from my Store and asked about fitting happy to refund the money. The LMP car are inline online due to the body design. Porsche can fit an anglewinder with the Slot.it Flat 6 type motor as I reported from Nurnberg early this year.

No body advised me to try the angle pod on the Pescarolo,just experimenting .
I'll use it somewhere on something.

Thanks for all who understand.

I stand behind Avant Slot on all their products, and try to give good advise. I have added to the description on the Chassis that the LMP Cars ( except the Porsche ) cannot take the angle-winder pod.

Now I better test the Porsche as I am going on what Avant Slot advised me at Nurnberg this year, not actually tried it myself.

Consultation has begun with the manufacturer to determine how they are able to fit this.
