    Ferryland indeed

    Well,

Blair M will be pleased to know that his MOMO 962C was assembled while I waited for a ferry on Thursday morning... I would take pictures, but the camera moved out...

    Kerry

PS I should be able to try it on Suzuka West this coming Friday...

Check on eBay for a Sony CD-400 or CD-500; trust me on this.

oooh......Keep me posted on its performance/handling there in Victoria....I can't wait to see it/test it out on Alan's track.

Rather than a slot car, do you want me to buy you a camera for your birthday?

We are starting a series for BRM Cars.

We will be racing them every week form September on.

Pretty much stock, no gluing, minimal truing.

No removing any plastic from bodies or chassis.

          Stock except rear tires.

This will start off with an 8 week series for $160.00 with a BRM car included in the Entry fee.

The dates are not set yet but either a Saturday or Sunday race date is planned.

          More News to follow soon.

The Escorts right now are not actually BRM they are made by TTS.
We do have complete BRM components to upgrade these to BRM spec.

We also recommend using the motor shim if you are seeing the motor clamp screws interfering with the motor when clamping the motor bracket.
This can help prevent chassis damage to the 2 machined adjusting slots.

We have not had problems with this but if the screws do touch the side of the motor can it can stress the chassis and crack the mounting holes.

Converted an old 1:25 scale Chevy Truck promo model to accept the BRM Camaro chassis.
The older (1950's era) promo bodies tended to "warp", so some "finesse" work was needed.

There's another thread here about mounting a camera - a GoPro - to a 1/24 car. It occurs to me one of those pickup trucks could do a good job.
