BigT new to digital carrera 1/32 &1/24 all help wanted.

Pretty sure SmartRace has no way to know if you are running 132 or 124 cars. If you are seeing 6 cars listed on the leader board standings I don't see how car attributes (tank, speed, braking etc) would be grayed out under car settings.
Can you change tank size for all cars using the CU alone and no smartrace?

No Dave thats the issue 1-4 are set at max fuel,but 5-6 you cant adjust and the guys driving those have to pit twice as much or more then everyone else.we tried turning down 1-4 but theres no way to match with 5-6 to get them all even.

If you want them all to be the same- use the fuel button on the CU to set the tank size.

Edit: Sorry- think it's labeled 'Tank', you don't want the 'Fuel' switch. Nope, it's the 'Fuel' button along the bottom row. Not to be confused with the 'Fuel' switch that toggles between off/on/real.

If you set it from the CU, every ID will have a tank the same size. It makes no difference what cars you are running, and it works for all IDs. In fact, software is the only way to have IDs with *different* tank sizes on a CU system.

It works just like the speed and brake buttons on the CU- press it until you have the number of LED's lit you want lit, then hit 'Start'. Now every ID will have that tank size. When you set speed or brake values this way, it will only affect the cars on the track when you press the 'Start' button. For 'Fuel' it will set all IDs the same, and cars don't need to be on the track.

Have no idea why Smartrace won't let you adjust 5 and 6. Probably another setting somewhere that's causing it?

Well here we are again it's Saturday my favorite day, and you know why? Because it's race night. The little group has gotten very committed buying car's and even looking into there own set's. Hey I had a few questions for anyone out here trying to find others to race with. What methods do you use to get other's interested in trying out the hobby? Do you have clubs in your local area to find others to race with? I guess in some ways I'm lucky I have found quite a few people I know who have found the hobby interesting, enjoyable and a escape from the never ending pandemic news. When I looked around my local area for clubs or people to race with it's mostly analog racing. I have nothing against analog,but i invested in a digital system because i find it far more entertaining and challenging then analog. So it didn't take me long to figure out if I wanted to race digital I would have to create my own group of digital racers. So that's why I ask what you all do to find other's to race with. I'm pretty excited about digital racing I'm new to it don't know much about it (Yet) but thanks to so many of you here I'm learning. And if you've watched any of my YouTube videos I can come across as a Dick at times :-) I'm really not, I like competition and I like to tease and talk SH- T When we're racing all fun and games. We all raze each other during race's to gain a edge on the others. Even the woman are talking a little more crap as they start to get more competitive. I'm enjoying teaching the newbies all about slot-cars and how to drive and eventually win. Kathy has really picked up on how to drive and has now won a couple races since she bought her own Audi R8. She's addicted for sure!!!!!!! So I've had a few calls since Saturday old friends of mine asking why I haven't invited them out to race yet? I asked how they knew I had a track and every time it's ( I saw your videos on YouTube?) Who Knew anyone was watching my videos? I make the videos for the people who come here to race mostly so they can share with There friends and family to help show others what there talking about. Well to my surprise I have quite a few requests if they can bring someone new or a friend or there kid's or grand kids and I'm like ya the more the merrier.So there's how I'm trying to grow a group of like minded racers. But I'd like to hear what you guy's are doing or have done to get others interested in the hobby. I'll try anything once, twice if I like it to grow my group.
