Anyone who can help me figure out how to Broadcast tv while screen recording my I-pad on smart race help me please. What I'm finding is if i broadcast i-pad to tv with hdmi cable I-pad wont screen record? give error message as cant airplay or car play and record. but if im directly connected to hdmi im not using airplay or carplay. what i did in this video is abandoned the tv, ran smartrace off i-pad as i always do, and linked sound bar to i-pad with bluetooth and that works. But i'd really like to broadcast smartrace on tv as I've always done and be able to screen record i-pads screen during the race. but something isnt allowing me to do it. the only way I can screen record i-pad screen is to disconnect tv? any Ideas?

DW5555 it's coming as soon as possible. Been working on my stable of cars and my mountain bike needed some up grading. I do some mountain biking up on Mt.Hood mostly downhill stuff. Had to get my season pass . Tom's building my dunlop cross walk bridge building, adding some lighting to it. We wish you lived closer so you could join us. If your ever in this part of the world you really need to come by and race. I have a spare room to accommodate guest so no motel required. What I post on YouTube is a small fraction of the races and fun we have on a Saturday night. So if your ever in the Portland metro area give me a call hit me up and that goes for anyone on this forum that I have spoke with or has helped me out in the past. I’d love to, I have no official racing experience to speak of. I’ve only done home racing, don’t have a clue on real racing formats. After watching all your world wide slot car YouTube videos it would be nice to meet and race with you. If I get a new camera I’ll love to join in on your chats I have 100’s of questions about the hobby/sport. The invitation goes out to you also if your ever down here in Portland send me a private message and we can get together and do some racing, our group races on Saturday nights 5:00pm- midnight most nights. I have spare room so motel isn’t needed if you want free room. I only do digital racing and since your the digital guru I’d love to pick your brain.

Quit plugging your videos. As far as a new video from me when I get the new Wynn's Porsche (supposed to be coming in July) I'll probably show how to replace the motor with a 1/32 motor and the mods needed. There is nothing else that hasn't been covered already. Between now and then I really gotta figure out how to edit videos or paste videos together because I have no pause on my camera. I just have Windows movie maker. I suppose it's in there.

Why don't you do a video with your Go Pro over your shoulder looking at the computer screen when YOU edit your videos?
