It was the First Responder. I haven't told her about the sounds. The only thing I heard was the truck horn when I set it up. It would be too complicated to explain over the phone how to change controller numbers. She only has 2 controllers set up.

I don't think he got the version with lap counting, so he pretty much needs to make sure fuel is off when he uses it, and just have fun driving the cars. SmartRace won't have much impact other than maybe making it easier to change the power and fuel settings?
I could be completely wrong, though. I don't have a TekSlots anything.

Smart Race has an analog mode that uses your phone’s camera to count laps. You can add analog cars to the Smart Race app and it will track all of the car stats such as race wins and fastest laps.

last week we had a new track record set which i believe is a incorrect record. this is Kathy and I trying to break the record or at least get close with the car she set the record with and my car which has held the record for a few weeks. neither of us could really get close . I believe there was a crash and her car was placed ahead of where it came off resulting in a false track record. time will tell.

Unless you were recording the supposed record breaking, there's no way to tell. But, I think you're probably right. If neither one of you could get close to the new record, it's a pretty safe bet that it's not legit.

Do you have a minimum lap time set? I assume you do, if so it measn her car hit the sweet spot right above the minimum lap time. You might want to adjust it if it isn't too much trouble.
