Never trust anything that needs updating. Glad it's working though.

Don't follow this one. You were running Smartrace, so did the updated app update your CU?

I was wondering the same thing.... Check and see if your firmware is still 339.

Yes the carrera app updated my cu I guess, it has changed my version of smart race all so. All I know is I haven’t had any issues since , ran 5 1/24 ghost cars and raced one against them over a hour not one problem

OK. that makes sense. It *downgraded* your firmware from 339 to 337.

So the 339 firmware is even more broken than 338.

Ok are there any known bugs to this version I should be aware of?

I've had no problems with 337.

                    • 337 has no known visible bugs, although it broke some things internally. One small thing I remember: cars no longer get the full 16 fuel steps- only 15. It was either 336 or 337 that automatically jumped an empty cars fuel to level two when entering the pits. Other small deficiencies as well that aren't noticeable to most end users if the software writers cover it up. As long as you don't get out a voltmeter or stop watch to measure every brake, speed, and fuel setting, you'll probably never notice.

And BigT, since you came from 339, you'll never notice any difference- except you won't have the lockups!
