Well I’ve been without power off and on the last three days, was wondering what size generator would I need to run my track during these stupid power outages? Nothing worse then sitting in a dark house with no music,tv,lights and not be able to lose yourself for a cpl hours racing. In between power outages my buddy and I decided to lower the track from 34” to 28” my group of racers are all fairly short :-). I was good with 34” but the 28” sure has a awesome vision aspect to it and makes reaching cars so much easier and my umpa lumpa friends can now Marshall there own cars maybe that will inspire some to learn to drive better :-). Missed you guys while I was in the dark over here.

Your track is running completely off your VPS. Look on the label, its probably in either amps or watts. Probably 2.5A, 300watts. Coffee makers draw a bunch. Typically 1100 to 1500 watts. I have a little 4 cup thats 600 watts. Coffee is better on a burner than electric. Race tracks don't use much juice. Heating things does.Last edited by Rokon; 02-15-2021, 04:02 AM.

Of course, you could get a generator for your house. Ideal if power outages are frequent, and perfect if you already have a natural gas supply.
It also helps if you have a bunch of money to spend ... or your basement floods unless the sump pump can be relied on 24/7 ... ask me how I know this.
