The 904 is my go to car. Handles better than my 911 and much better than the Ford GT.

Installed the TV for Smartrace. Saved some money by re-purposing the unused dumb TV and made it smart with an Android box! The TV is 10+ years old but love it because it has a real integrated amp and speakers rather than the new TV's made now. The Android box had been sitting around unused for a while too, so it's nice to give it some work!
I've also been learning alot from John at Slot Car Mayhem. I watched his Tasker series detailing how to trigger Hue scenes with Smartrace weather events. Amazing stuff! He's got a video demoing this and when the storm starts, I can almost SEE rain on the track! Reminded me that I had a pair of unused Hue lights, previously backlighting a TV, so I mounted those behind the table, point up at the attic ceiling. I installed Hue Thunder and holy cow, we have weather in the attic! Now I will be copying John's Tasker routines to get Smartrace triggering the Hue weather.
What's next?? low lying fog machine???Attached Files

Great track, one day when my final layout is up I will post a picture. (temp track put up to keep the youngsters busy at a family party)

Will probably race better with the cars beginning the long straight from the long R4 curve instead of racing into the long R4 curve and slowing for the following hairpin. Layout could be mirror flipped if you want the cars running down the long straight in a particular direction.
Clearance on the overpass may be tight unless the elevation is cheated somewhere. 1/24 cars would be very tight.

Keep up the great designing! You do not have permission to view this gallery.
