By Euro cars, do you mean plastic or steel chassied cars ?
Here's one form of a Euro Chassis, Grp. 7 ($395) motor, Lexan bodies !
The reason for the clarification...home guys can have these too. I have two in 1/32nd and two in 1/24th.
Looking through the archives, I think there are 3 D124's that didn't come here in addition to the 2 Lola's...One is the advent calendar kit with the red RSR 911 23923 that was in another post. There is also a yellow safety car RSR 911 23924 that is technically a limited edition. Then there is another RSR 911 23914 that seems a little weird... It's listed on the carreraslots site but at $89 which is typical of where they would price a euro only car..it's listed as "ship date to follow"...i have one coming from the ironically named German ebay seller "slotcarusa"
Too funny Ed. I was just looking at that same car (23914) in Germany and a lot are out of stock over there too. I saw it too on Carrera Slots. I really like that 911.Make sure you post pics when you get it. That one is definitely on the list.
As of right now it is. A bought a bunch of cars early November just to make sure I had some new ones to open up over the holidays and winter. Haven't opened this one or the green Lola yet. I haven't reached collector status yet, I really enjoy running them!
Dave, in my opinion the green Lola is the nicest of the bunch. It has carbon fiber looking covers over the intake stacks which the others don't have, no paint issues, and no tail light bleed through the body.
I didn't even notice the intake covers until I received the car. That was a nice surprise.
“It has carbon fiber looking covers over the intake stacks” - was there such a thing as carbon fiber in 1967?
Was this car sold in the US: 6E62B293-346B-417C-8892-A33AA0F032B3.png

Bill, I questioned that too. I have not checked it out. I'm guessing no, but they look cool.
Looking at it closer, maybe they were trying to imitate mesh. This makes more sense. I remember the Fly Porsche 908 has something similar. A first glance, the way the light was hitting it my first thought was it looked like carbon fiber. Old eyes here.
