  • Just Received a couple nice D132 Cars

For some strange reason I always seem to buy the police/safety type cars from Carrera. And the blue Aston Martin was a must have, truly beautiful car!

I'm with you, I like the safety cars. Hate the wheels.

Agreed...I do wish the wheels were different. And they've used that Camaro mold/body for almost 15 years, it really needs to be updated.

They are good looking. Why aren't the light flashing?

Carlos, those do make sharp pair I have the first Camaro Sheriff car, and those wheels are an issue along with almost no guide lead.
Has anyone had any success with modifications to the Camaro to get it to run better?
I bought a pair of PG tires for it, but they have to be stretched alot to get them on the rim [this is the same tire recommended for the spinner wheels and is an even worse fit on those]. I bought the car for the grandkids, and even with a slight improvement from the PG's it is still a hand full on my track.
            Any other suggestions?
            Randy

The roof lights flash just fine. I think I had it in the setting with the roof lights off, or maybe the shutter speed was so fast that it didn't pick up the flashers.

Truth is I mainly have the safety cars for fun and decoration. Maybe a hot motor would help, along with the PG tires. They have the older chassis design, and it's hard to make ANY of them run as well as the newer chassis design. I like the ability to drop the motor pod out because I do a lot of motor testing, but it isn't conducive to great handling. I think the only "current" cars with that pod desing are the Monza, Pantera, and Camaro. The Pantera has low wide tires so it seems ok, but the newer chassis design has really improved the handling over the older cars.

It actually looks better in person, in my opinion. They should be available everywhere pretty soon.
