Ugh. Almost all re-treads of existing model chassis. I guess only Lancia is an all new model outside of the funny buses and trucks which is really pushing even deeper into toy territory. At first read I had to double check the posting date because I thought I may have been reading a 2021 or 2022 list. Just really uninspiring. ????

Looks like no new mold for 124, unless the Audi R8 is the newer body style like they do in 1/32nd, and not just a new livery on the existing 124 R8.
Glad to see another C7 though. I much prefer the C7 to the C8. And of course the GT40 looks nice I like the new M4 liveries too, and the green Proton RSR, if it is the one that I saw.
Was really hoping for a new mold of something though

The Audi R8 is the new Eco II body - it seems to be the only new body. There doesn't seem to be many in 1/32 either.

I am a bit disappointed again that they seem to have chosen a modern car for the Lola. Plenty of real race cars they could have chosen. The Special GT40 is good - complete the 1-8 1966 Le Mans cars.

I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I'm surprised that there are no MarioKarts for 132. I thought for sure that there would be the "Luigi" this year, maybe along with another character, and at least a couple more in the years to come, depending on how they're selling.

David, I'm at least glad to hear that it is the new body style. That is more streamlined than the present one, but I would have figured they would have went with something that didn't so closely resemble a current car. I have been hoping for a Lambo Huracan for a couple years in the modern GT category.
I am happy they are still making 1/24 cars though, and any thing is better than nothing.

I searched and can't seem to find images of the Lola. Can you point me in the right direction?
I really do like the red and yellow one they did [actually my favorite behind the green Piper car], but you are right... there are a ton of race liveries for the Lola.

                    Hey Randy
A Ferrari 488 or a Lambo would have been my preference over an Audi as well. Who knows maybe they had some deal with Audi to keep making their cars or maybe Audi are easier to deal with than the others.

The only image of the Lola I have seen with a Manufacturer's Corner on it was on a blog page on the German slot forum Freeslotter. I haven't found a car anywhere in Internet searches with Manufacturer's Corner Makes you wonder how Carrera came up with it

I am also please they are making 1/24 cars - though I suspect that with BRM re-launching their range of 'big' 1/24 cars I will probably buy more of them and less of the Carrera this year. There are only 3 or 4 on the list that I think I will be getting

                    cheers
                    David

Thank you for the list of 1:24 cars David. Yeah, I too wish there was a Lambo there... Oh well, as others said, I'm still happy with any 1:24 cars they make. Hope they never stop!

I wonder if the Calder 3.0 CSL will be released. I really want that one...
