    H'mmm

    ModelerBob,

Have you had the opportunity to see (or measure) the wheelbase of the BRM 1/24 scale version ?

I'm thinking the "longer" car may just look a little better ...

But I'm wondering if the BRM car may be a bit short in scale ?

Yes, I know this is not the BRM forum... but notice how there has not been any discussion of this car ... over there ...

BTW, I'll be looking to cop a coupla' of the racing liveries

By my math, a correct 1:32 scale car (107") should measure 3.343".

      Ninco: 3.319
      Slot.It: 3.261
      Mr Slotcar: 3.517

So which one makes you happiest. I like them all. And my BRM.

I had no problem with the scale extra 7" on the MrSlotCar McLaren and that is why I didn't report it until someone asked.

          Ok ...

          So, Kid Voltage...

What is the wheelbase of your BRM F1 ?

Should be 4.46"? or is it shorter ?

I'm assuming the 107" dimension is wheelbase, as opposed to overall length

BTW, I am just curious, no problem with the models we are discussing ...

              Thanks for the scoop !

At 4.38... the BRM would be a tad short, but not worth noticing (say about a rivet and a half)

Perhaps it is the extra "swoopyness" of the Mr that made me think the BRM was a tad short.

At any rate, I be doing the Mr version when the racing liveries come out,,,

How much longer do I have to save up the money for one of the Gulf liveries?
