    New McLaren testing

The man himself, Ernie Mossetti, was caught testing the soon to go into production Mr. Slot Car McLaren at Mini Grid's Downsview location.

Mr. Slot Car guru Ernie Mossetti testing the new McLaren at Mini Grid Downsview.

I also had the privilege of doing a few laps and can say that, with about 150 grams of downforce, that the prototype was easy to drive. Wood non mag testing to come. As for the rest, yes, we did open the car up but, as I am sworn to secrecy for the time being, it will be a few days before I can give more details on the car.

Here are a few pictures I can share....

    The man himself!

    The cars....

        A very good news.
Please Johny, can you tell me length and width of the car?

I wish know if its scale is accurate for my future road version.
        Regards from Spain.

          Nice looking cars!!

I'm glad Alan shamed me into pre-ordering!! I'm up for the Gulf and Harrods versions! (LM Winner is too hard to see on most tracks...!)

Weight - including the body by itself - would also be informative.

Best of luck with your new McLaren, Ernie - it's looking good!
